Selection of a right gantry crane could reduce cost for customers as well as increasing working efficiency.

Please follow below ZZHZ principles to choose the right gantry crane.
1.      Single girder or double girder
Gantry crane with lifting weight<=20t, span<=30m, a single girder gantry crane will be ok; while with lifting weight >20t, span>20m, a double girder gantry crane is better;
2.      Span and length of cantilever
span has one important influence on self weight and safety of gantry crane, it shall be reduced to the most accurate range based on meeting the equipment service condition and span demand;
3.      Wheel tread selection principles:
a.       Meet the stability demand of gantry along crane rails;
b.      Out dimension of handling objects could smoothly pass support leg planar frame;
c.       Wheel tread B and span S shall be in proportion relations, generally B=(1/4-1/6)S.
4.      Space dimension confirmation
For smooth handling, out dimension of gantry crane in the working shall keep some space between goods in the stock yard and vehicle access road. As the transport vehicle handle goods in the span scope, it shall keep a space >0.7m from support legs; as the goods pass support legs, the space between goods and support legs shall be >0.5m; as the lifting hook does not work, it has to keep a space >0.5m to vehicle.
