China's foreign trade situation report(in the spring of 2014)

Retrospect the situation of international trade in the past years and the first quater of 2014,Commerce Department reports that,faced with the serious demestic and outside environment,our government timely published some policies and measures to adjust the structure and promote steady growth at import and export,which can increase the faith of corporations and expand the scale of international trade.

In 2013,China became the biggest coutry in goods trading.Due to the same period in 2013 the carry trade higher base,the data in emport and inport is declined in the first quater of 2014.Remove the base factory,China's import and export overall is in line with expectation.

It points that,with the recovery of the world economic and a health economic environment,there is a great chance for China to realize steady increase in international trade.However,we can't underestimate the serious and complicated situation when there are still difficulty and challenge in international trade.If there is no big change in international environment,China can keed the steady increase in the whole year of 2014.

In the next period,China will put foreign trade policy into practice to futher impove the level of trade faciletation and to create a more relaxed environment for foreign trade enterprises.At the same time,it is its main duty to reach a new trade growth point,vigorously promote export product added value,opeimize the structure of foreigh trade,actively expand domestic shortage of imports and promote sustainable healthy development of China's foreign trade.
