The brake of crane is the most important part of a crane. It included motor,reducer,coiling block, brake and so on.Hoisting crane is also a main factor mataining it working safty. Now, ZZHZ is will give you some suggestion about the form of brake's troble and how to prevention.

1、The moment of brake is decrease gradually. Usually, this problem is caused by the wear of brake belt, the primary spring relaxing and the abrasion of axis too heavily. So,  we should change it before the length of brake belt beyound its half, or the wearing capacity of axis beyound 5% of its diameter or the ovality beyound one mm.

2、The brake is not work suddenly. Maybe it is caused by some reasons,such as the abrasion too heavily, the sping unused or the broken of brake frame, making the brake belt can't embrace the brake wheel. What you need to do is adjust the brake,except change or repair some components.

3、As the temperature of brake wheel is too high, the brake belt smoks.It is used by the improper installation. Sometimes, when you open the brake, there is only one brake belt still sttach itself to brake wheel, rubbing against each other and leading the temperature rise in a short time.At this time, we should to cool it down immediately,expecially in summer.

4、Can't open the brake.The common reasons is hinge point jammed leading brake unmoveable. Now, you should to use thin oil pouring it every week,making it smooth and turn flexible.

5、Brake away from the adjustment position.

6、The other problem of brake: the abrasion of brake wheel, brake belt, brake slice, axis, the hole of hinge point expand. In this condition,you should update equipment.
